Barbara (Barb) Brush of Per-Lore Persians passed away on Tuesday, December 22, 2015 after a long battle with multiple medical issues. She was 74 years old. The Persian breed has lost a great lady whose passion and dedication to “linechasing” resulted in the creation of one of the largest online free access cat pedigree database in the world.

Connie Stewart, CFA’s Iconic Campaigner, Wishes Persians
CFA has lost a legend with the passing of the incomparable Connie Stewart of Wishes Persians. While attending a cat show in Germany, Connie was hospitalized following complications from her longtime diabetes. She was making progress in hospital and plans were being made for her to return to her California home as soon as she was well enough. Unexpectedly, on December 23, 2015, Connie passed away while still in Germany.
Donna Cook, Jadon Persians
CFA lost one of its most successful and accomplished Persian breeders with the passing of Donna Cook, Jadon Persians. Along with her daughter, Susan Cook-Henry, Donna developed and exhibited Persians for 40 years, beginning in 1964 when she combined the first few letters of her husband’s first name with her own to create her cattery name, Jadon (“Ja”ck and “Don”na).
