There are Four Patterns of Tabbies in the domestic cat; Classic, Mackerel, Spotted and Ticked. Each of the allowable colors of Persians come in only two “patterns” of Tabby: “Classic” and “Mackerel”. The Exotics are also allowed in the Spotted Tabby pattern.
