It can be very disturbing when a kitten is born with what appears to be one or more deformed legs. Often, the cause of the abnormality is contracted tendons — a condition which causes the leg to be stiff and/or twisted. Fortunately, contracted tendons can be corrected with physiotherapy before the kitten is walking.
