The Elizabethan Collar, or e-collar is a protective device shaped like a cone with the point removed. Typically made of hard plastic or stiff fabric, It is worn over the head and around the cat's neck to prevent the cat from being able to reach around to bite or lick at its body,or to prevent the back feet from being able to scratch its head or neck.
