Cidofovir is a broad-spectrum anti-viral drug used to treat infections of the eye associated with Feline Herpesvirus-1 (FHV-1). Because Cidofovir only requires twice daily dosing, it offers an advantage over other antiviral eye drops that need to be applied more often.
