Tiger knew something was going on. His human, Mollie, was changing. Her belly is growing. Now Tiger knows a bit about bellies. He has quite a tummy himself. But this is something different… Mollie is pregnant.
Never a cat to miss an opportunity, Tiger decides to make the best of the situation, and so he makes himself at home on this human cushion. Indeed, he quite enjoys the view from the hill.

But then, the view changes. A new human arrives! They call it the “Baby”. Is a Baby a good idea? Tiger needs to think about it…
He gives it a good sniff. Smells good. A combination of milk… and nice-smelling powder. Tiger approves.
To be fair, there are definitely advantages to having a new human kitten in the house. For instance, the Baby’s changing pad makes a comfy and portable lounging place .
While the bassinet is a super cozy spot for an afternoon nap. NOTE: I always make sure the Baby is elsewhere.
And we can’t forget the play mat. It has dangling things hanging from it that Tiger likes to bat at… when he has the energy…
Or he can spend some time reading… He prefers Miss Kitty books but will read about bears in a pinch. Tiger is often compared to a cute teddy bear.
Learning his ABCs. And how to count… ZZZZZZZZZZZ… Learning can be so exhausting.
Burp rags make good company on the couch…
The play pool, an ideal place to sit. A bit better than sitting with a bag of dirty diapers.
But the very best part of having a new Baby in the house is I can borrow his Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle outfit… And save the world from evil… or dogs, whichever comes first.
