Seal Point Himalayan Male
The highest achievement in the show ring is accomplished when a cat successfully earns the title of National Winner (NW). CFA established the title of Grand Champion in 1930 and the title of National Winner first appeared in 1971. In CFA, each year the top 25 cats in Championship, 20 Kittens and 20 cats in Premiership are awarded the NW title
The first Himalayan to earn a National Win occurred in 1973 when a seal male named GC, BW, NW Lord Byron was 9th best cat.
As of the 2023-24 show season, 2 Himalayans have risen to the top to be named Best Cat – we’re still waiting the day for the first Himalayan to earn a Best Kitten or a Best Cat in Premiership.
