This issue, we’re celebrating the Smoke & Shaded Persians!The black smoke was one of the earliest colors on record in the fancy, being registered in the English cat fancy as early as 1893. However, it took until 1961 for the cameo colors to recognized by CFA, the blue smoke in 1962…. and the tortie smoke finally recognized in 1977!!
